  i have read many opinions about jw's being a cult.a dictionary describes cult as a system of religious beliefs and ritual .. some have viewed even major religions as a cult, such as the roman catholic church.based upon webster almost anybody or anything that is viewed as ritualistic could be said to be cultic.when someone tries to negate jehovah's witnesses by using.

  the "cult" word, i believe they are not seeing that many others could legitimately be regarded as a cult or at least "cultic".therefore the word loses alot of meaning.

  some have said that the watchtower is a cult because of the control factor.

  when talking to mormons, i would open to the last page, of the book of mormon, find where it says jehovah, to show them how much we had in common, thay were surprised most of the time.

  the jws compare themselves to 1st century christians. so explore some history. read 'bible myths and their parallels in other religions' by -Doane. you have the web. search- bible fraud - woman deaconesses- constantine, trinity, sunday. date bible cannon. please get to know your bible. as far as the jws comparing themselves to 1st century christians? like now, there where so many, christian beliefs that maybe if the jws were around back then thay would be gnostic christians now.

  Ozzie's Wine of the Month

  for the past month or so, mrs ozzie and i have been enjoying a few (several!

  ) bottles of this beautiful drop, a "good earth" banrock station 2000 shiraz cabernet.

  it's a vibrant wine with rich berry flavours, soft vanillin oak and fine tannins.

  here on the west coast different wine producers have found that the screw top reduces deferent bacterias that can unfortunately hurt the fidelity of wines, no matter what the caricature. in the mid north thay have found that apples give more body and substance, add to that the extract of a wide verity grapes and you have a wine that is assessable to many but not all. MD20/20
